Simply Salad

Simply Salad is a healthy alternative to ordinary fast food meals. The company was created by two friends out in LA seeking to bridge the gaps between healthy, quick and affordable food. In order to build upon their growing fan base, my job was to create illustrative animations for their web and mobile sites as a means of drawing more attention to their unique brand.

Holiday Promos for Instagram

Social media is the perfect way to remind customers of your product. These two holiday promotional graphics were designed to draw the attention of Simply Salad's instagram followers without requiring too much of their brain power. Both promos utilize the same vegetable illustrations which shows the versatility of the assets that I designed. 

Process

Just as I do with any project, the first step is always to brainstorm different ideas. Once a solid idea is fleshed out, sketching is the following phase. After a sketch and storyboard is approved, I move into illustrator where I create the assets for the animation. Lastly, before animating in After Effects, I separate my illustrator file into appropriate layers in order to aid in the animation process.
